Will the Gigabyte H97M-D3H be able to effectively handle two gpu's in crossfire?

Hey there, I'm currently looking to upgrade my current MOBO (Gigabyte Z87M-D3H) to what appears to be a slightly better option (currently within a tight $150 budget). As I'm currently running two Sapphire Vapor-x R9 270x's, my current motherboard will not do the job as it only has one PCI-E slot that is x16 and the secondary slot is only x4 (Hence I'm getting pretty bad performance running in crossfire).

Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 60hz 1920x1080
GPU Drivers: Crimson edition (current ones)

The Gigabyte H97M-D3H is a solid quality motherboard that will handle Crossfire well, but the performance capability for Crossfire on that motherboard will not be the best due to the x4 speed on the second card. I would recommend a better motherboard. If you are planning on overclocking in the future, I would get a motherboard with a Z97 chipset.
