Will the GPUS that are out now be upgrade-able from displayport 1.2 to dp 1.3

Right now there is only displayport 1.2 on graphics cards and MOBOS, but in the future will there be a firmware update to turn dp 1.2 into dp 1.3?

I don't think there will be firmware upgrade for that. Even if it was possible. Just look how DP1.2 not upgradable to DP1.2a
