Will the graphics cards work?

Hi, I have a dual 8800 ultra nvidia geforce and I was wondering if it would work if I just only use the graphics card and not use the radiator and the cylinder-looking cooler? That is, is it possible to sli the dual graphics card w/o using the radiator and the cpu cooler? Here is the image:

Think they will run to hot than. There are no normal, iron, air cooled cooling fins if i see it right, so you should change the whole cooling system i think.

just used air cooler i think both will be fine and which mobo do you use

I have the gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155

and I'm also using the corsair A70 cooler for my cpu.
So the graphics cards would work without using the radiator and the that "heatsink" thing? or will it heat up fast like how robjordy mentioned?
