Will the GTX 1070/1070 Ti and the i7 8700/8700k drop in price a year from now? Planning to build a Gaming PC and I think I'm set on these CPUs and GPUs. If they do drop, is there an estimate by how much?

In a years time the GTX2000 series might look lucrative. The i7-8700 might get phased out as a result of the 9000 series GPU's being launched. If you can wait, then I'd say hold onto your cash. At the very least wait till the end of this year before making the jump.
