Will the gtx 1080 founders edition become a collectible?

Hi, I'm considering buying af gtx 1080. However, i don't know which version. I'm most inclined to buy a zotac op amp extreme because it seems to have a good reputation as being the best overclockable card (as far as i have read). However, I'm also considering the founders edition because i have considered the case that the reference design may become a collectible, and so, in the long term potentially a better investment.

So the question is, as the title states, will the reference design gpus potentialle become a collectible?

Almost certainly not in any reasonable time frame.

I mean, it might have museum-like collectible value in 100 years, but not as investment-grade collectible. too many of them out there for that
