Thats the graphics card I'm looking to get. A "EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-3975-KR 4GB SSC GAMING w/ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics Card".

My motherboard is:

A "GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 AM3+ NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset Micro ATX AMD Motherboard".

My current Graphics card is a Radeon HD 6670 powercolor. Was wondering if someone could help me determine if that GTX 970 would work with my motherboard. Not the most hardware savvy person.

Your CPU won't be able to keep up with the graphics card which will result in some stuttering. I suggest you upgrade to an FX 6300 and buy a GTX 960 instead. The CPU support list hasn't been updated to include the FX 6300 but it will work with the latest BIOS. Here's the proof that the CPU will work... http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2102531/m68mt-s2p-compatibility-6300.html And here are the links to the FX 6300 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009O7YORK/?tag=pcpapi-20 and GTX 960 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013LDXPFO/?tag=pcpapi-20

Ok, it will be fine to work, but your CPU might bottle neck your GPU. What CPU do you have?

AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor 3.60 GHz

It should be fine. Maybe sometime in the future you might want to look into upgrading your CPU to a newer i5 model. Or you could always overclock it if it is under preforming compared to the 970
