if those are the ones that you mean, then there are already reference coolers for the 970s

As of now, Nvidia is not making the 970 with their reference design available for consumers to purchase. However, they may eventually release them (I believe they will, and frag even has a page to prove it).

I'm pretty sure OCUK has the reference 970 available for purchase. I think they just got it in yesterday.

Edit: Here is the page. It shows as available for pre-order, but it looks like it won't be available until November 7th.

there might be but it won't be many. heck some retailers might charge premium price for it just because of that titan cooler. it will be the same case as 770. and seeing how cheap 970 MSRP is nvidia most likely don't want to sell many 970 with reference cooler as well.
