Will the GTX 970 last until Volta doing 1080p 60FPS?

As the title says, I was wondering if a GTX 970 will last until Volta doing 1080p 60FPS on most games. I don't care about games running at max settings or anything.

As a side question, does anyone know if 144Hz monitors are expected to drop in price within the next 2 years. Thank you.

Yes if you run BF4 on high setting with that card you can get like 100fps. And yes that Card is very good, it will last you a good few years.

And im not sure about 144hz monitors, but a 60hz should be enough for now
