WIll the GTX 970 work with Windows 10?

I am thinking of getting a GTX 970, but I am afraid it might not work. I doubt it will, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right? So I have Windows 10, but on the Geforce sight, it says that the 970 is only compatible with Windows Vista to Windows 8. What happens if I use this gpu for Windows 10? What would happen? Would the computer even turn on correctly?
