I'm having trouble figuring out if it will fit. My stock cpu cooler is dying and I need to find one soon to replace it.

My CPU is the AMD Phenom II X4 955
http://

My MOTHERBOARD is the ASUStek M4A88TD-M/USB3
http://

My CASE is the InWin Griffin (19.61" x 7.09" x 16.30") with a 220m side fan.
http://

I was looking into buying the Cooler Master Hyper T4 (5.2 x 2.9 x 6 inches)
http://

I have a feeling that it's not going to fit. If I'm right, could you guys please help me find a heatsink that would work with my case?

Would something like this work? http://

I don't really know how much of a difference this type of cpu cooler is where the fan is parallel to the motherboard as opposed to the T4 where the fan out more.

Thanks guys for taking the time to read my question.

A quick scout around the net reveals you have 6 inches of clearance if you take off the side fan, and the T4 is 6 inches tall. I can see why you're having trouble 🙁

If you're not overclocking then any half decent low profile cooler would suffice and would allow you to keep the 220mm side fan too.
