will the i5 7400 handle future games?

i have an i5 7400 & a gtx 1060 6GB & 8GB Ram, i cannot upgrade for a while because i am on a budget. so i'd like to know how long this CPU can handle current AAA titles and upcoming ones in the future.

Its really hard to predict whats gonna happen in next few years. To be honest i would say that as long as you have warranty on your parts you are fine .

If your at 1080P/60hz my best guess would be 3-4 years on the CPU and 2-3 years on the GPU, eventually you may want to upgrade to 16gb of RAM.
