Will the i7-6700k Bottleneck the RTX 2080Ti?

Solution
At 1080P res, at 6700K clock speeds, perhaps a little...

If the 6700K is clocked at 4.8 GHz (equaling the 7700K at the same clocks), much less so, as 8 threads still do VERY well in gaming alone, i.e., with no streaming

Shouldn't be a bottleneck no but will have to see when reviews come out. Id say with your CPU + Hyperthreading it should last long enough or until Pcie4 / 5 motherboards are released which are rumoured for late 2019 or early 2020 - then consider a rebuild.

Depends. What resolution and what target frame rate?

If your resolution is huge, say 4K, then the GPU will probably still be the bottleneck (or you won't care since it can probably do 4K@60hz quite well). Or if you want 100FPS plus on 2560x1440 or 3440x1440.

If you are going with 1080p and you want 200FPS, then your CPU will likely become a problem.

i would say the same, but we do need to wait for the GPu to see what does bottleneck it :)
