yes mostly you should send us the motherboard's chipset generally from g31 to p45 your cpu will work.

My "LGA 775" 945 chipset mobo doesn't supports Core 2 Quads.

That's why I'm asking the mobo model.

Like the others said, completely wrong. Not All LGA 775 supports Quad CPUs. Heck there are some LGA 775 motherboards that don't even support Core 2 Duo, P4 only!
