Will the kaby lake works after i update bios?

Hi! I own a system unit with a intel g4400 and a gigabyte h110m-ds2

and now i want to upgrade to kaby lake i3-7100 so i update the BIOS to F20 of my motherboard.

my question is will i able to use the i3-7100 (if i buy) on a h110m board with no issues?

Yes it's possible , just perform the BIOS update with the G4400 , then insert the i3.

If the BIOS is up to date with the F20 it should run , without issues , it is supported with that F20 BIOS.

Update it with the G4400 and then install the i3 7100 , and your H110 board should run it.
