Will the motherboard still work?

Hey,

On the PCI-e lane slot, the part at the end, which is shown on this screenshot > https://gyazo.com/698341229fd191d6b7c1fb53385050b2 it has came off, will GPUs still work with this clip part not connected any more?

I do not have a GPU to try.

Yeah that part is just to hold the gpu in place, it doesn't have any electrical parts.

But with that part missing, surely the GPU will not stay in place if it holds it?
