Will the MSI SLI Plus z370 support ddr3?

I thought this was impossible until I looked around and heard that some socket 1151 boards support ddr3. This would save me a lot of money. I searched MSI's website but it says nothing about this board supporting ddr3. Just to make sure I don't miss out, I thought I'd come here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

NO, none of the Z370 or Z270 MB's take DDR3.

However there are some LGA 1151 motherboards that do take DDR3, BUT they are extremely hard to find now and not normally cheap either. Best to forget about using the DDR3 memory and buying DDR4 memory for the MB you want.

Usually, they list stuff that it support, not stuff that they don't. If you don't see it saying it support something, it not supported.

Also you are supposed to use DDR3L and not DDR3.

Some 100 series motherboards (H110, B150, H170, Z170) supported DDR3L with Skylake/Kaby Lake CPUs.
