I am new to the PC building world and I am working on my first gaming PC. So I have chosen to go with a Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero, and I wanted to know if the new Nvidia Gtx 1070 would be compatible with said motherboard?
As long as a mainboard has a PCI-e x16 slot, you can use any graphics card with it. Every standard mainboard has that slot (yours included). No compability issues there.
