Will the Novation Launchpad Mini work with Windows XP?

Will the Novation Launchpad Mini work with windows XP? I know that the software (Ableton live lite 9) does work but i cant find anything on its compatibility with Windows XP.

The novation wesite list compatiblility only upto windows 7, so I assume that the drivers for it may only work in windows 7 or higher. I could be wrong, though.

On multiple threads they have confirmed it to be working on XP. It said that XP detects it with no issues but Ableton can be annoying with it (I don't own a Launchpad so I don't know if the software is just bad or if the hardware is unsupported. You'll have to make the call here)
