Question Will the old cooler master v8 work on a mobo with lga 1151 socket

If this cooler and motherboard are compatible will the cooler be sufficient enough for a core i5 6600 K (picture of cooler here)

It should. There's nothing about the motherboard that should differ between 1150 and 1151. Only the CPU socket itself is diffent. The cutouts for the CPU cooler should be the exact same for those two sockets.
