will the power consumption increase

Hi. I am using a 300w psu nkw. If I upgrade it to 500w psu, will the power consumption of my pc increase??

The PC will draw the same amount of power. You will just have more available from the PSU.

P=IV and each component uses a certain voltage and current, so that will not change.

If your current PSU is being maxed out you could see a reduction in power consumption. PSU' are usually most efficient when operating at 60% - 80% so a larger PSU of the same rating (bronze/silver/gold) could be operating at a more efficient level
