Will the product key work again?

Hi! My computer is fairly new and I have Windows 7 on it. It was installed from a new disk. I am going to reformat my hard drive to reinstall everything and organize it better and I'm getting a new HDD (I know I don't have to reinstall though).
So my question is this: Will the same product key work for a reinstallation? I'll be using the same disk on the same SSD.

It should only problem you run into is if you use an oem version and put in a new motherboard and try to reinstall windows. So you should be good.

I just went ahead and installed it again. The key works!
