Hi Guys,
I am looking to purchase a new ram stick so i wanted to know will it be compatible with my existing motherboard or not.......

RAM:
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC DRAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL)
Link:http://goo.gl/1KncBT

Motherboard: MSI H55M-E21(MS-7636)
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H55ME21.html#hero-overview

Processor:Intel Core i3 540 @ 3.07GHz

Thanks.

PS: If you could please suggest any other RAM that would be compatible with my motherboard and processor. I need 8 gb ram stick.

1) Your MB can only support 4GB for each DIMM slot, not the single 8GB. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H55ME21.html#hero-specification
2) Because you had the H55 MB, you have to buy the low density RAM, not that Corsair Vengeance brand, it can support at least 2nd gen intel MB.
3) You can buy this one Crucial 4GB CT51264BA160B http://www.amazon.in/Crucial-CT51264BA160B-240-pin-PC3-12800-memory/dp/B006YG89Q6/ref=sr_1_18?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1464796935&sr=1-18 or CT2KIT51264BA160B http://www.amazon.in/Crucial-CT2KIT51264BA160B-240-pin-PC3-12800-memory/dp/B00683X4PQ/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41AWFWTZ0XL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=117MNVZCADYFTE851191

I check both of them from crucial site, they will fit with your H55 MB. You can check it out too by click the "Will it work with my system?"

will this ram work : http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-CMV4GX3M1A1600C11-1600MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B009CILPRI/ref=sr_1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1464849994&sr=1-4&keywords=ram

Also what do u suggest ..... should i invest on MB or will this 8 GB ram be sufficient for casual gaming and day to day uses ??

Also can u suggest a good budget friendly motherboard.

Thanks for your previous answer

The CMV4GX3M1A1600C11 may not work with your MB, when you go to the Corsair Memory Finder, your MB is not in the list. I don't recommend buy it. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/memory-finder

If you have 8GB RAM, that will be more than enough for games or daily usage. More info:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/memory/2008/07/08/is-more-memory-better/1 ( for DDR3)
even the DDR4 is same http://www.techspot.com/article/1043-8gb-vs-16gb-ram/ In USA, the RAM is cheaper now so that we use 16GB even 32GB.

For the whole new PC, yes, it will be better, but it depends on what you want to do, what budget you have, because someone will upgrade the PC every about 3yrs, or even longer. Someone may still use the old PC too.

What about this one:
RAM:
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC DRAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL)

I checked the G.Skill website and it should be compatible according to the site but pls help me confirm it.
Thanks
