Hi fellow pc master race. So I finally collected enough money to buy a new gpu since gpu prices in my Country are crazy. The gpu i'll be buying is the Sapphire nitro RX 480 to upgrade my GTX 750Ti. Here is a link to the exact card and shop:http://www.eshopcy.com.cy/vga-sapphire-nitro-radeon-rx480-4g-4gb-gddr5-pci-e-retail-p-PER.510942.

So the problem is that there is a good chance of the gpu not fitting since the PC I have was not originally bought to be upgraded. It is the HP 3500mt. So I have changed the motherboard, the power supply, the back fan, the graphics card and added more ram to this PC. The case however I did not change yet.. My main concern is that the width of the RX 480 i'm getting will be too much for my case and the side panel might not even close. Could you please do some research on the HP 3500mt's case and see if it will fit? I'm not willing to buy a new case right now.

Note: This RX 480 has the 8 pin on the side of the card instead of the top.

Height could be an issue with those minitowers, they do tend to be a bit narrow. Best you can do is take a measurement of the depth your case and compare it against the width of the card. You may have to run without a side panel or get a new case, either that or you'll have to make some modifications, eg, cutting out part of your side panel.

True but isn't this sapphire rx 480 more than standard height? if you check the images you will see what i'm referring to.

This is pretty much what I am dealing with btw(not my pc): https://www.google.com.cy/search?q=hp+pro+3400+graphics+card&biw=1920&bih=974&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwjajua67PHQAhWOd1AKHQznAkAQ_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=+HP+3400&imgdii=NqMSQ5I0vpoJTM%3A%3BNqMSQ5I0vpoJTM%3A%3BtwnUwuB3Mmuw1M%3A&imgrc=NqMSQ5I0vpoJTM%3A
