My current rig is a Dell Optiplex (Small Form Factor) 3020 upgraded with a new GT 1030 Low Profile, an i5-4590s and an extra 4GB DDR3 RAM stick.
I want to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3400G as I am struggling to stream with my current hardware. I am aware with the new case, motherboard, and RAM changes if I want to do this upgrade, but will Ryzen's Vega 11 Graphics be enough to stream with the AMF encoder?

Solution
That pc will not be faster than your old one by enough to justify the upgrade.

The ryzen 3400G still uses the old zen+ arcitecture, and its a 4 core part, leaving it being about the same an i7 4770k.
The vega 11 is also almost the same as the gt 1030.

If you want to upgrade, either save a little more, and get a ryzen 3600 and keep the gt 1030
or pay the same and get a r3 3300X with your old gt 1030.

Itll be the same gpu power, but with 1. better drivers and 2. in the case of the 3300X a 15-18% better cpu and with the 3600 it'll be a whole new class.

Will the CPU encoding with one of the CPUs you suggest be better than the AMF encoding from the 3400G?
