Will the same driver work for multiple GPUs?

I wanted to ask you guys if I I used my driver for 1060 will it work for 1070?

yes. These are based on the same core IC so they should be running the same driver.

Yes, but I have seen cases even moving from one nVidia card to another may require a driver uninstall and reinstall.

It will likely work just fine. (Depends on several factors including brand change.) But possibly not if a brand uses proprietary configurations on the hardware and your not using drivers directly from nVidia.

Either way you should update your drivers to the newest version when you install the new video card. (I recommend using the drivers provided by nVidia.)
