Hello everyone. I plan on buying a 2600x paired with asus prime x470 pro and I'm thinking to buy an m.2 ssd as well because some of my games load very slowly. So will this mobo be compatible with this ssd? Also I've heard that I should buy a cooler for the ssd. Is that really necessary because money is a problem for me. Also does this motherboard have more than 1 m.2 slots? Will this ssd be compatible with asrock x470 master sli because I'm thinking to buy this mobo to save some money but I'm not sure if it will be good enough for that ssd and if it has 2 m.2 slots(I hope the asus one has 2). Thanks in advance

Master SLI board is very good and will work just fine. Both boards should have 2 m.2 slots and the 970 evo will work just fine. You could really save money and get an 860 EVO. You most likely wont notice the difference if you are mostly gaming.

Both boards have a built in m.2 heatsink.

So that means that I won't need to buy a cooler?
