Will there be a good performance difference between these clock speeds ?

GTX 970.

Models 04G-P4-2972-KR, 04G-P4-2974-KR, and 04G-P4-3975-KR.

3 different performance models. 2 are factory OC'd.

Clock speeds(core, boost, memory):
- 1050, 1178, 7010
- 1165, 1317, 7010
- 1190, 1342, 7010

I am considering getting the second, most highest clocked model. But I might wanna squeeze out extra $$ for the highest clocked card.

I am not asking if the factory OC'd cards will be worth the extra $$ now. I'm asking if there will be a good/fair performance difference between them and the reference-performance card.

Please don't say "just buy the reference speed card and OC it.". Obviously, I will OC later on. I want to know if the F-OC'd cards will actually perform a lot better before/after OC'ing than the reference speed card.

Hmm tough call. I have personally had bad luck with EVGA cards and overclocking in the past. Frequently i would have to down clock them to get them stable but to be fair the Maxwell is very overclockable so it will likely be less of an issue. On the MSI side i have had trouble with them in the past as far as fans going bad. They have been known to put in crappy fans on their custom cooling solutions. If it were me I would likely choose the EVGA model with the highest clocks.
