I have a BFG GTX 260, i have heard that this video card has a fan speed problem, i have the Nvidia Control Panel in which theres an option in which i can adjust the GPU fan speed, i have seen that if i raise the speed of the fan it starts to sound loud and i am afraid that it might push the limits of the video card, so please tell me i dont want this video card to colapse...Thanks

So then it's like automatic? When it is under load then it is at 100%, but if you have it at 100% a lot. Like Shadow said, it will shorted fan speed.

If your fan is at that % a lot then I would recommend improving airflow in your case to try and prevent it working that hard as much.
