Will there be a problem if I use powerline adapters on a three phase wiring system?

Soon I will buy an xbox one and I want to connect it to the internet but my router is in the first floor and the xbox will be in the third. At the beginning, I considered the wifi range extenders but I have heard that there will be a lot of latency. I have heard good things about the powerline adapters but I also have heard that they might not work in three phased wiring systems as my home has. Some say that the devolo ones work with such systems but they are pretty expensive. I will buy a tp link one since they state on their website that they will work on three phased wiring systems but the speed will be decreased. I don't want to take the risk since it costs 55€. Will this work for me?
