Question Will there be any performance gain if you overclock the memory clock on a GPU?

I just completed overclocking my Zotac Geforce 1650 OC 4GB GDDR.

I found the sweet spot to be +159MHZ, which netted me a +5.4 FPS gain.

My question is, will I really see a performance increase if I increase the memory clock at all? I mean 5.4 FPS is a significant gain, but was wondering if I could get any more performance out of this card by overclocking the memory.

Overclocking the memory will also yield an fps increase.

From what I have read (and been told from those with more experience than me), overclocking the memory on a GPU will not result in any significant gain, more so since my GPU comes with 4GB GDDR5, which is more than adequate.

Also, I have been told GPU memory is more sensitive, so if you do something wrong, it may render your GPU useless.
