Will these fans work as pwm fans for my hyper 212evo

Hello, i recently bought msi gaming 7 and i was thinking to add red led cpu fans on my 212 evo to match the theme. i found these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103091 which they say that they have 3 to 4 Pin Adapter included.

DOES that mean that they will work as PWM? thanks in advance.

I've owned this particular fan before, two of them infact, although I can't remember them coming with 'said adapter.

If the 3-pin is on the fan end then that's the way it is. There won't be any PWM control.
I'm not sure what the point of the adapter is. It will most likely have a 3-pin male connector on one end that you plug the fan into, and turn into 4 by the end of it (The end you plug into the board).
So that extra line on the adapter is probably hollow.

I personally can't see much point to this other than being an inch worth of extension.

well i guess i am gona another pwm fan 120mm and paint both of them with a red spray,heat resistance to match the color theme with the mobo and ram.
