Will these graphic cards compatible?

Hi, I have some questions:

I am receiving 2 graphic cards soon. The GT730 2GB DDR3 64bit (PCI 2.0) and the GT740 2GB DRR3 64bit (PCI 3.0).

My motherboard is ASUS P5KPL-CM, here is the link. It has a PCI-E x16 slot and PCI 1.1 I think. I know it is old but keep reading.

My questions are:

1/ Are both graphic cards compatible to the motherboard? Because my mobo has PCI 1.0 I think but it does have PCI-E and the graphic cards are PCI 2.0 and 3.0

2/ Now, as you have seen the motherboard is old, I am planning to buy a motherboard which has PCI 3.0. I want to know if the GT730 2GB DDR3 64bit will run on it? Because the graphic card is PCI 2.0. That is, a graphic card 2.0 on a motherboard PCI 3.0.

pcie 2.0 and 3.0 are both cross compatible, pci 1.0 is for sound cards etc.

both gpus will work on a new board, just dont use them together as they wont work.

Use the 740 gt its slightly better, and the PCIe 1x can use a graphics card if you mod it, NOT recommended though.
