[SOLVED] Will these parts work as a Hackintosh?

I have a PC running Windows 7 that I would like to change to Mac OS X Snow Leopard and upgrade to Mavericks. Does anyone know if these parts will work?

12GB DDR3 RAM
HIS Radeon R7 250 (2GB) graphics card
ECS Elitegroup X77H2-A3 motherboard
Intel Celeron G645 at 2.90 Ghz
Windows 7 64-bit
1TB HDD

Unfortunately no, Apple went back to Nvidia for sole providing video cards so the newer AMD's are not compatible

"The Radeon R9 200 series is largely just a rebranding of the Radeon 7000 series, so most R9 200 series cards are supported in OS X Mavericks (and possibly Mountain Lion). However, you will probably have to perform the same workarounds during the installation process-- while some models in the R9 series now work out of the box, most of them still have the same problems that the 7000 series had. Meanwhile, most of the cards in the Radeon R7 200 series don't really work in Mac OS X-- as usual, OS X hasn't provided particularly good support for AMD's lower-end models."

So it would just be the graphics card that might not work?

Can someone revise the original post and mention that all of the AMD R7 R8 and R9 cards except the 290 and 290x work completely out of box since they are just re-named versions of the older 7xxx series cards. No die shrink or anything like that just new names on the box.

Yeah as long as you are using an intel chip the only issue is the GPU, so since the 250x = 7770

So the 7770 is supported so you "should" be alright, never any guarantee unfortunately unless someone has posted the same build

Also it is recommended to use gigabyte motherboards for Hackintosh builds since you do not need to make any changes to the bios to have them work
