Will these parts work for my old PC?

I need to know this before I purchase these parts. I have this old Dell Inspiron 530 that I have been wanting to upgrade for a long time so I can do some gaming on it. So far for the parts, I have chosen to add a GTX 750 to it, and maybe 8GBs of Ballistix RAM. Will these parts work? that's all I really need to know.

Also, how many frames do you think I could get after the upgrade in games like CS:GO, LoL, or even Minecraft?

You should contact Dell on this, some pre-made systems have blocked BIOS to prevent upgrades like this. It seems odd, but actually is a good safety pre-caution for warranty issues on their behalf.

If you want a gaming PC, I suggest building from scratch and getting the parts you need/want.

Also, we would need your service code to get your exact model specification. I am not sure if that computer even has a PCI-e slot to handle the GTX 750, or which type of RAM you can use.

Your PC will support the GTX 750 but Ballistix simply doesn't offer 4GB DDR2 DIMMs (Inspirion 530 has two DDR2 slots).

Framerates in the games you called won't be a problem for the GTX 750. I'm just a little curious about the CPU because Dell apparently offered several different CPUs for this PC. Assuming you have the least expensive CPU option (Pentium E2160), you could be a little disappointed about your performance. It definitely won't take any more than those games. Assuming you have the most expensive CPU option (Core2 Duo E4800), you're fine for what you say you want to do with it. Once again, it won't do much more.

G.Skill is a great brand and usually about $10+ cheaper than Corsair or Crucial. I use G.Skill in all my rigs now, my friends have been using them for YEARS.
