I'm looking to build a budget pc and I've gotten my core parts. I'd like to make sure that all these parts will go together well. I used UserBenchmark to ensure compatibility with core parts. That said I want to make sure the psu and all that will work. Also, should I look into buying some cords separately or will these parts come with everything I need? http://a.co/3GDu9Ts

I have experience upgrading and fixing computers to a degree but this would be the first pc I build from the ground up.

everything will work together although i recommend to get a kit of 2x4GB 8GB ram kit so you can take advantage of the performance boost you get when running ram in dual channel mode. be careful the HDD you chose isn't going to be a refurbished or used one. hitachi banded drives haven't been sold in years. they were bought out by western digital and now sold under the HDST name.

Ah that makes sense, I made the list public so hopefully that will help. It will be used as a beginner/mid tier gaming pc. The person I have in mind to give it to plays things like 7 Days to Die.

Okay thank you! I will probably default to a Seagate for the HDD, my main concern was the core parts and the case. Thanks for the advice on the ram!
