Will they release a gtx 2060 card?

Cant buy a 1060 right now because of thr prices but i was wondering if i should wait for the nvidea volta gpus

A. It's probably not volta but Ampere (Pascal Refresh basically)
B. They probably will release a 1160/2060. Either way, Nvidia always launches a card in the $250 price bracket.
C. Note I used the word "probably". Everything we've heard about regarding next gen Nvidia GPUs so far is still in rumorville.

From what I have heard it wont be volta, the rumored names are turing and ampere.

Going by what nvidia normally does the 2080 and 2070 or whatever they call them should be announced and maybe released in May after GTC. The 2060 and 2050 likely wont be released until some time after that. No telling if availability and prices wont be ridiculous for those cards too.

Fortunately if you buy directly thru the Nvidia store, you can get one for MSRP. However, they go out of stock fast, so keep checking this link as often as possible:

Founders edition 1060s are $299 MSRP. When prices weren't outrageous you could get board partner cards between maybe $240-280. I paid $250 for mine a while back.
