Question Will they run stable enough together?

Ok so i've recently bought a Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz 2x 8GB DDR4 Dual Channel kit by mistake as im currently running 2x 8GB Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz DDR4.

If i connect the 3200s the motherboard will automatically detect the lower RAM speed in the BIOs am i right?
With that being said will it run stable enough if i pair both the 3200mhz & 3600mhz together and select 3200 in the XMP and set the Memory Frequency value in the bios to 3200mhz with no overclock (theoretically would that be underclocking the 3600mhz ram?)
The 3600mhz sticks are currently in A2 and B2 and i was thinking of the 32s going in A1 and B1!

My other concern is the timings, the 3600 reads 16-18-18-38 whereas the 3200 reads 16-18-18-32, it seems like only the Cycle Times are slightly different! How can i get the cycle timings to match in the bios to make sure they're running stable together if i can?

I play a lot of games both heavily demanding and not so demanding and i find 16GB of RAM for gaming is perfect but i've recently started game developing in Unreal Engine and it can sometimes have a heavy impact especially render times or editing cut scenes etc in DaVinci Resolve. So i wanted to get the extra 16GB to give me more headroom without the fear of programs freezing or lagging and an overall better running PC.

It's a fifty chance...you're advised to work with a matched set of rams. I'd advise on returning the ram you bought on accident and get a similar kit. Also, you could comfortably do 3200MHz while on that 3000 series processor but for you to see DDR4-3600MHz, you're advised to go for the 5000 series and a 500 series chipset pairing.

Yeah i have stepped back from the idea of mixing the ram sticks just for stability really! I do have another question though!?

I was going to upgrade from my current CPU Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 5600x but i have decided against it for the time being to get a bit more use out of the 3600! I would on the other hand though still like to upgrade my ram from 16GB to 32GB to give myself just the bit more headroom on heavy work loads!

My question is which would i benefit more from on my Ryzen 5 3600,
32GB of 3200MHz ram overclocked or 32GB of 3600MHz ram with D.O.C.P enabled and mem frequency left at 3600MHz or overclocking?

In fairness with the 16GB of 3600MHz ram im running at the moment i am seeing some slight performance gains in Heaven and Cinebench benchmarks with gradual overclocking of the RAM, CPU & GPU.
