Will they top FS2004 soon?

Just dying to ask if there are plans for another FS. 2004 is great,
but I was wondering about a newer one.

Yes, there will be another version of FS. As of now, it's looking like
spring or summer (northern hemisphere) of 2006.

2006? I'm strangely relieved knowing that I won't have to hassle with all
the add on aircraft upgrades for FS10 this summer. 🙂

Maybe we'll all be surprised with an earlier release but, from
everything I've been able to glean, it really does look like 2006. And, like
you, I really think it would be a relief not to have to worry about add-ons
and hardware upgrades for a while. That will leave us all with more time for
flying with less time needed for "tweaking".

We might be in for a surprise. FS2000 ran like a dog and FS2002 actually ran
a lot better....

Yeah, but I bet a lot of people (like me for example) just love the tweaking
now.
The flying has become quite a minor part of it...

Then the next best thing is this group!

Was thinking about this today. Will have to start again in a few weeks when
I get the new tower (3.2 Athlon), load it all in again and then later start
again with FS10 although I ran 2002 for some time in conjunction with FS9..
well until I superseded what I had built up. Sounds like a lot of work
coming up.
