Will this 500$ build work?

Here's a build which has that same case and gpu. As you can see as long as your HDD isn't in the bay across the graphics card it will fit.

Build looks alright but I would go with a better quality PSU like a XFX 550W and a h97 motherboard so that you have the option to upgrade to broadwell later on.

Very good for a $500 PC.

I assume you're just using one stick of RAM instead of 2x4, to leave the option of 2x8 open later.

I know some people are going to criticize the i3-4150, but don't let them. My friend had an FX-6300, and I had an i3, and there's no question he was constantly frustrated by CPU bottlenecks in MMOs and other CPU intensive games optimized for few cores, while my i3 was universally perfect even in heavily multithreaded games. I've never seen someone on a budget regret going with an i3, but I've seen plenty come back here to ask about inconsistent performance with AMD CPUs.

However... See if you can spend a bit more on an H97 motherboard. Otherwise you'll need a BIOS update to use the haswell refresh CPUs, which could be difficult if you don't have a spare CPU laying around.

If PC Part Picker says it'll fit, the card will probably fit. However, the compatibility notes say you may need to remove some drive bays for it to fit.

The graphics card is used but the build is decent overall. The CX 500W PSU you have is mediocre in quality and the BTC motherboard is meant for bitcoining, not general use.
