Question Will this adapter work?

I just recieved my RTX 2060 but to my stupidity forgot to notice my monitor only has VGA and DVI inputs(the 2060 only has DP and HDMI outputs) . Will this adapter work?

It should, but only to a max of 1080p/60Hz I would expect, as it's single link DVI.

It might be worth considering option for something a little more pricey like this:

Which would allow 120Hz over DVI-D as it's a true "active" adapter. Would have a better resale value by the time you replace the monitor (as a new one should have DP and/or HDMI?)

However, by the time you spend ~$70 on an adapter, you have to start considering the cost to merely upgrade the monitor.

My monitor is 1080p 60hz so that's not a problem
