First-time computer builder here, just wanting to make sure all the parts I've selected will work smoothly together! If there are any glaring mistakes or much better alternatives to listed parts (which won't change the overall cost drastically), I'd love to know!

On to the parts:
Mobo: M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera
GPU: MSI R7850 Twin Frozr
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 8GB DDR3
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 TR-500
(I'm aware the next three won't really be too relevant, but figured I'd add them for sake of completeness)
DVD drive: LG GH24NS95
Case: NZXT Tempest CA-TP210-01
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

The original budget was $500. Currently at around $720, I'm still happy with the looks of the build. However, figured it'd be a good idea to consult some more experienced minds before spending quite a bit of money. Thanks for your input?

PSU was definitely the hardest part for me to pick out, just too many for a newbie like me to know where to start with them...
Will the antec VP-450 still work? I know I have a note written down here somewhere about the voltages I need, but I can't seem to find it. Will a 450W PSU still work with these parts?

Okay, thanks for all the help! Guess I'll have to say my goodbyes to this 8-year-old beast with 1GB of ram (no idea how it's lasted this long, it's held up pretty well!).

It will not be a very painful goodbye.

Edit: Thanks for all the (freakishly) quick responses!
