Finishing off the research for my partial new build and want to be absolutely sure that the components I have chosen will work together well and provide the best overclocking experience.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo e4400
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Memory: A-Data 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

I couldn't figure out Gigabyte's memory compatabilty charts, A-Data is listed on there but I couldn't find any model numbers anywhere on the net that matched those on the Gigabyte charts. If someone has the a better suggestion for memory that isnt exhorbatantly expensive i.e. above 120 for DDR2 and is compatible with this board let me know. Thats the one thing I am weary of the most, is the mobo-memory compatability.

I am also planning on overclocking this setup so I wanted to be sure that the specs of the components will provide an optimal experience. (I'm new to oc'ing) The reason I went with the mobo I did was for future upgradeability options.

That RAM should be fine. The 4400 has a multipler of ten, so just to get the RAM to full speed, the processor would have to be running at 4 Ghz. So I think the RAM would be fine.

The RAM should be compatible also.
