The recommended amount these days is 16GB but for those on a tight budget 8GB will suffice. It's helpful to list all parts of the PC. Bring a doctor a torso, brain and some eyes and he might look at you sorta sideways. Same here. The PSU may be scraping the bottom of the barrel. We've seen inexpensive PSUs that are okay and then cheap PSUs that should never meet a new build. Is there an OS? How will that be loaded? Will you need an optical drive?
