I am considering beefing my machine considerably for 3d rendering purposes, and would like to know if my current mobo and cpu will bottleneck the gpu's i plan to get.
I am running an i7-4770k on a gigabyte g1 sniper 5 mobo, and i want to get 2x Titan X to power my 3d renders and also SLI when i play games, and a quadro card to run my displays when setting up my 3d scenes. Obviously that is going to be expensive, especially considering that if i do this i should go up to a 1500w psu, and probably get a better case also.
Id rather not go the extra mile and upgrade mobo+cpu+ram aswell, if that is the advice i get to prevent bottlenecking my system, i probably wont do any of it at all just yet.
I currently have 2x gtx780 for rendering and gaming, and 1x gtx770 to power my displays when doing 3d stuff and not gaming
