For games like GTA V, BF 4, Farcry 4, Metro Last Light and other demanding titles, will this build be fine?

Yes this rig can handle all those games with high graphical fidelity @1080p. The GTX 960 even outclass the AMD mid-range heavy weight R9 280.

The CPU is good, ram is good psu is even decent enough.

The 270 gpu though will get you medium settings @1080p for any demanding games like the ones listed.
The 960 gpu will get you high settings on those games, although a 280x is arguably better for often less money. Between the 280x and the 960 I would go with the 280x for gaming only. Now if doing photoshop or rendering or other media production type tasks most software will utilize cuda cores in Nvidia GPUs which thus makes the GTX-960 better for you.

Also the PSU is more than enough to power the entire rig. In fact, it can even handle GTX 970.

If at all, any change needed, I would suggest this motherboard over ASUS, as it has better on board audio solution and is also priced less.
