Will this build be good for a first build? First Gaming PC

I am unsure whether these parts are compatible or if they are any good as I am quite new to this, but I've put together this list with a little bit of research. I was thinking of a blue LED colour scheme but that doesn't really matter all that much.

If you have any ideas on how to lower the price or any better components for a similar price that would be great.

One other thing, would it be worth the increase in price to get the 1600X instead?

Not really. You can in most cases overclock 1600 to 1600X level.
