[SOLVED] Will this build be ok?

Solution
  1. You will have to update the bios for a 3600 to work on that motherboard, and with that board it will require an older compatible cpu. Best off getting a B450 with 3000 series support like the MSI Max series.
  2. Buy ram in a set not individual sticks
  3. Be careful with seller recommendations as most will try and sell you something they make more money on, not the one that is actually best for you.

RAM is too slow for that Ryzen. Get at least 3200 MHz.
And I would recommend getting two sticks of the same RAM instead of two different brands.

I will post the store from where I am getting the parts: http://extremetechcr.com/

The budget is 640.000 CRC at best, probably less than that, which is around 1200$. The price differences may vary a lot due to conversion, so a 20$ difference on your side might be 40$ or more here in Costa Rica.

What kind of PSU could I get that doesn't destroy my budget? I might be upgrading to an AMD 6xxx Series if the ever come out, but that's not for sure.

It would be awesome if you guys could give a quick check on that page since that's basically the only source for tech here in my country, buying parts from the USA won't be cheaper for me.

Currently, I own:
Ryzen 3 2200G
AMD Rx 570 4GB
16GB RAM 2x8GB
MOBO Gigabyte A320M-S2H

If the new MOBO I want needs a BIOS update, what are the chances that the seller will do that for me?

Can I use that R 3 2200G to do it myself?

Tried to leave ~$200 to account for price differences. The motherboard may require you to use your 2200g to update the bios for the 3600. Also in all honesty it maybe a good idea to hold off for awhile as prices and supply are currently bad due to the issues caused by Covid.

Updated to a newer much better dc-dc platform in 2017. The CX450, 550 and 650 are the units with the updated platform.
Aight, in 2016 I had a lot of questions to it, maybe should give it a chance, but anyway I hafta look at it if it's better than Be Quiet PP 11, cause CX550 is not really cheap right now and maybe it's better to like, throw a bit more money for best choice

In the US right now a 500w Be quiet PP11 is $180, almost $100 more than the CX550. The 550w Straight power is cheaper at $120 but is currently pre order.

The CX550M is a reliable budget psu and an ssd can always be added later as "budget" allows, it doesn't make the build pointless just adds load time.
Adding 120 GB SSD for Windows later and installing/setting up everything again - is not really interesting occupation. He might go for it, cause some of components in the list is really overprice. Actually better ask OP what he needs to play or kinda, cause I don't understand is he gonna play only VALORANT or something, or everything new

OP said they are in Costa Rica. PCPP doesn't have it as an option an I know of no online stores there,
yeah I noticed sorry, but whatever. I will never understand prices and his build, your build is best solution I presume, just found out now is CX550 is fine ... but in Russia I can't still trust them, need some of my friends to buy and take a look.

SeaSonic FOCUS 650 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply is $124.99 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1505898-REG/seasonic_electronics_focus_px_650_650w_80.html is the PSU choice has to be lower cost wise than that PSU.

5600XT is the best GPU, it just gets more expensive.

The 3600 can be replaced with a Intel Core i5-9600K but the 9600k has no cooler making it more expensive. 3600 has a cooler.

The issue with the Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...qVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/htmlview#gid=639584818 Motherboard should do a stock 3700x/3800x but the VRMs are going to need air flow for an OC. A 3600 is fine in the spreadsheet.

I think bignastyid is as cheap as you want to go. You can get super cheap PSU but they are a roll of the dice.
