I am getting a new gaming pc and I want to make sure that the build works well together.
¿How many years will this build last?

Yes, nice system, should be excellent for gaming.

If you wish to overclock, consider upgrading from the stock cooler.

yeah man just make sure your ram frequency is atleast 1600 mhz or more and get a 5th generation i5 processor the onne which you choosed is 4th generation , 5th generation processors are out there and are more future proof. Your current build will last 5-7 years

The 5th gen processors are notebook only at this point. No desktop Broadwell chips at this time, and there may not be any as Intel may be skipping over it and going right to Skylake.

No prob- just to complete the discussion, Skylake is expected in the 2nd half of 1015, and it will definitely have desktop CPU's.
