Will this build last please help

Hi just wondering if an expert can help me im wuite tech savvy myself however just looling for advice

CPU RYZEN 5 1600
MOBO ASROCK K4 FATALITY B350
RAM CRUCIAL 2400

Will this buils bottleneck a 1070 or a 1070ti and be future proof for games and gpu upgrades.


My main focus is gaming would i benefit to upgrade to a 1700?

the build is fine, and AM4 socket will last until 2020 as AMD says
your build will be fine with a 1070 or 1070ti

going to a 1700 will benefits you in many ways
as it has more core/more threads

also, try go get a higher frequency RAM as Ryzen performs better the faster RAM speed

i assume you are not going into OC
1700 is a workstation CPU, unless you are going to do many task or a heavy lifting like rendering, then go for it
1600 is faster single core, if you only main in gaming (closing other tasks), then it is enough

I may overclock my cpu if it gives good benefits and is easy.

Say i wenr into photo and video editing would the 1600 be still good?

yes, 1600 is still good for editing, while 1700 is more better while doing lots of editing or rendering
if you are going to OC, then 1700 is your best bud

If the 1600 is sufficient for my needs i think i will get that. would you suggest a b350 motherboard capable of overclocking quite well and some good ram please

but i suggest you to get X370 model, mostly asus prime x370-pro.

all RAM operates on the same way, overclocking RAM is the same, best way through BIOS / XMP (Xtreme Memory Profile)

you may take a G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB 3200, I'm currently using 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz
