Will this build run BF4 Ultra?

Thanks! But I wasn't really looking to upgrade my gpu, what is the best processor you recommend for about 200-250$.

for $200, i'd recommend going with an AMD 8350 because games are going to support more cores/thread.

Do people on this site have access to benchmarks?? Why in the world would you reccomend a 760?! And why would they recommend an amd cpu when its VERY clear that the GPU is the problem(although an amd cpu might help a little)!?

UGHHHHH its so frustrating, here take a look at this

http://www.techspot.com/review/734-battlefield-4-benchmarks/page2.html

You will only get 30 frames on that current gpu and 40 on the 760.

Also why in the world you you want to pay $300 on a 660ti?!

The benchmarks show that an R9 280x will get you 55fps on ultra in bf4 FOR THE SAME PRICE as the 660ti.

So clearly the r9 280x is the best gpu for playing less than $300 and get good fps on bf4.

btw upgrading your processor will do NOTHING for your bf4 experience,in fact its probably already overkill. If you are looking for 55-60 fps on ultra go with the r9 280x.

Solution

Wouldn't say the CPU is overkill, its lacking in cores compared to the AMD 8 core, which would beat it in BF4 easily at this point and time, specially if hes running windows 7. But a 760 wont run the game maxed out, close tho.

If your only really worried about running BF4, AMD R9 280 290X is the way to go if you want to run windows 8.1 since AMD is the only cards that have hardware support for DX 11.1 and 11.2. But that doen't mean the 780 can''t run BF4, but you'll need CPU power if you plan on getting an Nvidia card for DX 11.1 as it has no hardware support for DX 11.1 which your CPU should be enough at 1080p, but any higher idk. Also Windows 7 wont fully support DX 11.1 which is why Windows 8.1 leaps ahead in this title.
